MLB Bag Policy

There isn’t one overarching MLB bag policy, the MLB leaves it up to each stadium to determine individual rules and regulations. In order for your bag to not be searched by security, it’s necessary to have a clear bag made from plastic, vinyl, or PVC. In most stadiums, any bag bigger than a clutch (4.5" x 6.5") needs to be clear in order to be permitted. Bags over a certain size (even if they’re clear), typically 12” x 6” x 12”, are also prohibited.
