Let Us Reintroduce You: Packing Cosmetics for Air Travel
Let us reintroduce travel! It has been awhile, so some of us may forget the ins and outs of air travel. Before you jet off, brush up on a few things to make getting on a plane so much easier.
Hooray! Travel is finally making a comeback. It’s time to book your flights and hotels, plan your outings, and pack your bags. But wait...does anyone remember what we’re allowed to bring on a plane anymore? Don’t worry, Truffle’s got your back (and your bag). Here’s how to pack cosmetics for air travel so you won’t lose time going through security.
A Quick Refresher
Can I Bring an Empty Water Bottle on a Plane?
Yes! As long as the water bottle is completely empty, you can bring it through security and refill as needed. Most airports have water stations throughout the terminals.
Can I Bring Scissors on a Plane?
Scissors can only be brought on a plane as long as the blade is less than 4 inches long, so most cuticle scissors are cleared for TSA.
Can I Bring Perfume on a Plane?
Like any liquid, perfume can be brought on a plane via carry-on luggage as long as it is less than 3.4 fl. oz. If it is larger than 3.4 fl. oz. it must be put in your checked bag.
Packing Skincare for Air Travel
Packing skincare for a vacation is always a chore, because we want to believe that we will apply five face masks in a day, when in reality we just want to keep it simple and spend our time enjoying our vacation. Keep it simple, and stick to your skincare OG’s. Keep them safe in a Clarity Clutch Small, and if you need to moisturize mid-flight, it's easy to see exactly what you need.Source via: @being_bridget
Packing Cosmetics for Air Travel
Packing makeup for a trip can be quite scary. We don’t want anything to spill or explode, or any pressed powders to shatter. The Clarity Jumbo Jetset Case is structured, so it will protect all of your makeup and cosmetics. It’s also big enough to hold your face, eye, and lip products as well as brushes all in one, so no need for extra baggage.Source via: @laurenkaysims
Packing Hair Products for Air Travel
This one can get tricky, because most of the time travel size shampoo and conditioner is only enough for one wash. If you are one of the rare ones that can stretch two or three uses out of travel size hair products, they can fit perfectly in a Clarity Pouch Large along with your other travel size hair products. If not, full-size products will have to be in a checked bag to safely make it to your destination. We are so excited that travel is finally back! Make sure to pack your cosmetics for air travel carefully, and use a Truffle bag to make your life a whole lot easier. TSA rules are definitely something to keep in mind when traveling via air, so make sure to plan accordingly. Happy truffling. Oh...and happy traveling.
